Default b18b1 questions

hey people whats up. well i have a few questions i have a few b16 parts i have lying around that i want to use with my ls but im afraid that it might not work. im curious to know if i can use the b16 crankshaft, pistons, water pump, and oil pump in my ls block? or would i need the head in order to have everything run properly? and if i can use these parts on my ls block would it benefit me? any help would be greatly appreciated.

that would raise my compression ratio right? so would i be ok on using 89 octane pump gas or would i need to go up to like supreme? and would valve clearance be a problem?
