rear main seal leak problem!!!!

Default rear main seal leak problem!!!!

well guy new here... but got problems after changing a new rear main seal from honda put the new 1 on put back the tranny turn the car back on it for sum reason it still leaking from the same spot where the tranny n block is connected... any help guys what can it b????

Did you install it properly? Are you sure it's not the oil pan?

Also make sure it is not a leak from one of the two distributor seals (= o-ring and housing seal)? Check closely right beneath the distributor housing. See the two seals in the top drawing http://honda.lioness.googlepag...aring

make sure your oil pan gasket isn't leaking. How did you remove the rear main seal. Did you take the whole bracket off or did you use a screw driver to pull it out? Does the crank have any grooving or scratches? Is the rear main bracket properly sealed? Did the seal fold on you? Did you make sure that it's evenly installed, not crooked? Too far in? There is bunch of ways to mess it up. It's fairly simple and straight forward job as long as you know what you are doing. If you don't then you just have to keep on doing it until you get it right.
