QUICK ? Head will not come off the block no clue ??

Default QUICK ? Head will not come off the block no clue ??

Hey guys took my motor out and the head just wont seperate from the block have no clue why not i've done this almost 13 times so idk whats going on any help would help thanx guys trying to reach 700 horse

gonna need a little more info before we can help you?? if you took all the head studs out then maybe it just needs a little help seperating. try prying it apart.

bracket that holds intake manny to the block thats whats holding it. its behind the motor near the oil filter.

agree, if that dont work then take off your headers or exhaust manifold, lol.

yeah if you take a rubber mallet to the head and pop it a few times it should come off or you've missed a fastener somewhere.

so what you saying is if i take my head off 13 times i can make 700hp????

No not all i just took my 475 horse em1 apart and the head just wont seem to come off everythings disconnected, the bracket isn't there anymore i have an edelbrock intake mani all the head studs are removed they are arp head studs. I was prying at it all day got the timing belt side of the motor to pry up alitle bit not to much but never had this problem so not sure if anyone has had this issue before

Any more suggestion guys the head still wont budge everythings disconnected
