Built b16a3, now headgasket is leakin oil on the block, PLZ help.
just finished building my motor, the ****** head to block is leakin oil at a slow but steady rate, its because the chilton manual gives the wrong torque spec sequencee (a non criss cross pattern)
So i put 80 miles on the HG, can i reuse it if i spray it with copper, or do you thing retorquing the head would work without even lifting the head fromt he block??
If i reuse it can i torque it more than 72ftlbs to ensure a better seal??? I'm using ARP HEADSTUDS
What should I DO?
Thanks

Did you have the head checked out? I usually retorque my headstuds after about 100 miles of putting a motor back together, but if its a steady leak, then I'd check out the head and maybe even the block is the machine shop says the head is ok.

if the head or block is warped you could have a prob have it checked out
