Default Oil leaking out of the back of the block help please

Hey guys, this is the second time this happend.

Heres the story, i have a H23 from my lude, i have taken the head off before and put it back on to rebuilt it.

everything was fine.

then i sprayed it for a while,.

thats when i wrecked the prelude and it overheated. I took the motor out, went to rebuild it and put it back together.

i didnt deck the block cause i thought it might b ok, so after i get the motor back running again i noticed on the backside of the block on the driverside where that little lip is that tells you the piston sizes. oil leaks out from where the head meets the block. you can literally watch it seep outa the joint where head meets block.

so now i put the h22 head on it, and it still leaks at the exact same spot. so it cant be the head. its gtta be the block. All i can think off is that maybe the block warped, either from overheating or from spray and thats why its not sealing right.

also im using arp headstuds, and they are trqued to 80 using the moly lube.

anybody ever have that? or does that sound like a warped block?

thx all
