Default anyone run b16 head & typeR block

I want to know if anyone has swapped there b16 block for something taster and how it runs. Im trying to get some mo power but want to stay all motor.

I think that would be a good combo if...

You port the b16 head, and upgrade to they Type r valvetrain. I thought B16 and ITR share the same head, but ITRs are hand ported vs machined?? Or is it the other way around??

Sounds like a fun motor anyway you look at it

I've always heard that the B16 and ITR heads are the same except the ITR is hand polished/ported. Of course the valve train is different, but the conbustion chamber size is the same.
