advance it to 17-18 degrees, it doesnt affect the vtec as the vtec engagement has nothing to do with engine timing, to bring the vtec in sooner you need to either get a chip which brings it in sooner or get a vtec controller

wow...ive honestly never seen "vtek".
ignition timing has nothing to do with the vtec engagement point (if thats what you speak of). if youre into manipulating the vtec point, search "vafc".

Advancing the timing on my Vtek phone allowed me to answer calls way before they're made. It's quite amazing. Before you even dial the number, my phone rings. Now that is really off the hook!
