Personally Id stay away from someone elses project. especially a RHD swap.

I agree 100%. Don't inherit someone else's problem bud. Start from stock.

Plus, when you do it yourself, it makes it that much better!

DO NOT TRY TO FINISH SOMEONE'S RHD PROJECT. YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF. if you do decide to do it though, don't worry about the jdm vins. just take them off and put the us ones on. its not illegal if your doing "body repair"

Its kinda illegal to "chop up" your car. Cops out here in Cali are always sweating rhd cars the "i just wanted to make sure someone was driving" bit is getting old lol. But since the BAR is suspended due to budget cuts, its open season on most the stuff they would usually deem illegal here.

He didn't ask for opinions on whether or not he should buy the car, he asked about the vin plates.

First item to address is your incorrect spelling of the word 'advice'. Second, don't type titles in all capitols; it's annoying.

I would run it by the DMV before you buy anything. The last thing you would want is to buy the car and not be able to drive it.
