Default help can u re install a headgasket on a b16a2

oke i just closed up my b16 and just me luck i score some b16 rods and pistons for my motor mint with rings so i was wondering can i re use the head gasket if its never been fired up its been bolted up for only 3 days

Yes, as long as it hasnt gone through a heat cycle its good.

if it has gone through a heat cycle it could still be reused but make sure you use some copper spray but there is no guarantee it will work but your suppose to use new headbolts but most dont and get away with it

oke a 3layer gasket that hasend even been even turned or gass or oil even remotly on it should still be good

man... I've ALWAYS been told NOT to re-use headgaskets if they've been torqued down

That's what they swore by in school for this ****..
