Default Smog Check Question

hey guys need you advice seriously. I'm due for a smog check soon and I was wondering if they reinstated the budget for california on state referee? the reason I asked is because last year I blew my B18 stock on my integra 4 door. I then bought a B20 which was a little lighter in the pocket. I'm getting a code but I found out what it was (crank angle sensor) now once I get this fix, is there a way I can pass smog with a B20 in a integra? help me out here guys its my first time doing this stuff..
In short motorswap from a B18 to a B20 factory boned stock nothing added all original honda parts even the spark wires, filters, oil, you name it.. its stock from Honda, I get it service there.

What are the processes to get a smooth pass?
Should I bring this up to State Ref first?
