well my car is not highly modified, or mildly modified. i don't have an intake to kick in 12 hp, or header that boost 15 hp. this is maintenace that i enjoy doing and is proud to do it myself. my car is stock other than suspension and rims and tires.
i buy my oil and filter from wal-mart and i noticed Halvoline motor oil jumped from $2.66 to $3.47, jeeez! i went to 5 different wal-marts looking for the air filter, and they said they don't stock for the civics.
they no longer like honda's
i buy my plugs from kragen.
i just like to see what people use that is all.

lets see now, my last car was a 1990 dodge caravan turbo and it had some very specific needs:
fuel-the souls of innocent children. they had to be innocent because if they were corrupt it knocked.
oil-the blood of 6 week old puppies
oil filter-hitler's skull. it had a lifetime warranty from mopar
air filter-chicken wire stretched over the compressor inlet
