zc sohc vtec turbo problems

Default zc sohc vtec turbo problems

okay i just finished installing my turbokit in my car
no sure what turbo is it but will check later today

i drove the car and the boost gauge shows 8-10 psi but after a couple minutes the car starts to act like is clogged
then i turn it off for a couple of minutes and it works fine
then i drive again and here it goes again


i have everything stock from fuel pump to injectors to spark plug and spark plug wires

except
stage 2 exedy clutch and nopi ultra lightweight flywheel

i have a drag style manifold (ac friendly ftmfw)
intercooler piping
intercooler
xs something wastegate
blowoff valve
autometer procomp ultralight boost/vac
glowshift oil pressure
one oil/water temp

what else should i do i'm on a budget since i have to send my dog to brazil anyways let me know thank you all

your going to need bigger injectors and a tune...fuel pump isnt really a must have unless you plan on making alot more power than stock and im sayin 300whp...i would recommend some dsm450cc injectors with resistor box and some ngk bkr7e spark plugs

^ Word. 450's would be perfect for you, some better exhaust, a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a walbro 195 wouldnt hurt either. TUNE TUNE TUNE! Unless you want to blow your motor, you need to get it tuned. http://www.turbod16.com

well i'm buyin a 450 dsm injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump saturday

should i get a fuel rail?

do i have toget my ecu chipped to get it tuned?

Dyno tuned. a fuel rail is not really a must have yet.

the stock fuel rail is more than adequate unless your injectors' inlet diameter differs from stock.

then i'm get the money from the fuel rail and save to get it dyno tuned

is the holley fuel rail good? also comes with the fpr in it for 60 is that a good price?

Should of done your research before half assing a turbo setup

You can go get s300 and pay for a shop to tune your car, which will cost you a pretty penny.

Or you can just find someone who can street tune on the side for you and just get crome.
