Default B16 running to rich!! HELP!!!!

Ok, so i got a b16 sirIII in my 92 civic hatch, headers, 2.5 piping all the way back, its a p61 ecu but i got it chipped with a b16 map. and i just snapped my timing belt about a week ago and is now fixedwith no valve damage (leak down test done)...i just change the oil, plugs and wires and my car smells like ***!!! (right after i got my car back) like its way to rich..i went back to the mechanic and asked if it could be a exhaust leak and he check but he said there was no leak at all....WTF could it be?

what injectors are you using, the ones from the B16 or from your stock motor from the hatch?

Who chipped the ecu with the map?

do you have good throttle response or does it bog down?

try running a p30 and see if it still runs the same. if does run the same then we know it's not the ecu. do you know anybody who can lend you a p30

It's the computer. If you wern't on the dyno, the base map is well, just that, a base map. It's to get you to the dyno so you can drive ti on the street for a little bit with almsot no problems. It's not ment to be permanent. You need to get it tuned on a dyno

If you keep running that computer without tunning it, you will wash away the oil at your piston rings, and can damage/scar your cylinder wall, which then compression drops and you will need a rebuild.

i cant seem to find a p30 ecu but i want to get one to see if it is the problem...
and the whole base map thing makes sence ,and the guy that chipped my ecu said that it was a JUN b16 map, does this mean that its tuned to be running rich??
imma be moving to CA in 2 weeks so if anybody got a p30 to sell im willing to buy..

really........... running to lean will make it run like crap as well, you need the correct amount of air and fuel, not just a huge amount of one and not the other.

You need to just get a STOCK B16 map loaded onto the ecu
