i recently bought a ostrch,burn1 and a hulog..
ive downloaded crome 1.5
and flash & burn.
and connot get it to work.i know i cant use datalogging on crome 1.5.
everytime i try to hook it up to my ecu the crome program says..conot conect to ecu... ive been reading on pgmfi.org and cannot find a related problem

 

Make sure j12 is removed from the ecu.
Make sure you have the quick datalog + rtp plugin installed on the binary you upload to the ostrich.

 

its easier then you think. If you have connected the ostrich/burn1 to the computer and windows finds it then your 1/2 way there. Enter chrome and go into settings, then find the realtime programming tab and make sure you have the ostrich/burn1 in the pulldown window under hardware type. Click detect connection. For my burn1 it was just that easy. For the ostrich you might have to mess with the serial com settings. Refer to the ostrich manual and go to moates.net for help if all else fails, i mean it is thier product.

 

yea windows did not find it when i plugged it in..dont know why ive tryed it on 3 computers..i bought this used..well it has never been used but it didnt come with a manual..been researching this on moats webpage and pgmfi.org and cannot find the problem.

how do i upload this to the ostrich?
