H22 OEM Intake Manifold for turbo?
Before I turbo'd my EG Civic H22A, I had the butterfly flaps and the spacer that goes with it removed and I left it that way after I turbocharged it. Will I lose any performance or hp this way? Also I heard of people getting the manifolds bored out - does this help?

I took the plates out, before boosting. Honestly, makes no real difference driving it (drove it like that for 1+ year). Maybe a dyno sheet will show a shift or loss of a few ponies, like 1-2. My driving experience, no difference and I cleaned the bay up. Now that I'm boosted, runs just fine to me. hth.
