well if you have spark are you getting fuel can you here your fuel pump prime when you click the key into the on position???? and check all your fuses under the dash and the fuses under the hood by the battery.
i am getting fuel.. still no spark and all the fuses look good to me.. are there any relays i should check? i hear the fuel pump prime...
The same thing happened to me. I was driving the other day and my spark plug wire popped off of my distributor. My motor was running on three cylinders fine and then all of a sudden it cut off on me. I plugged the wire back up and it did nothing, just cranks continuously. A mechanic said that the distributor was burned up does anyone know what could be wrong?
Just a thought and unlikely to cause a sudden no start but....have you checked for corrosion on the contact points of the distributor cap? Happened to me once.
Do you have an actual spark tester tool?

check the resistance of your plug wires. they should vary from 900ohms to about 2500 with the lengths. if any are OL then replace them. check your cap and rotor to see if its burned or cracked ect... fuses are also a good thing to check
I remember reading a thread about this aloong time ago.. guy had a similar situation friend pulled the spark plug wire.. then somehow fried the ecu.. (still looking for thread)
OP: when you replaced the ignitor & coil.. were they brand new? known working parts?

I have no electric coming to any of my spark plugs. I toolk the distributor cap off and the points and center point on the cap are fine. However the rotor looks a little like a computer chip on the tip that got burned up a little bit. Im getting the testing tool tonight from my friends shop to check all of the wires. But ya it sucks. Do any of yall live close to Los Angeles with a 2000 GSR distributor for sale. I want to just replace it because from what everyone tells me my coil is burned up because of the electrical charge that was dispersing under the distributor cap. I called acura and they said $120 for the coil. I would rather just replace the whole distributor. The only resaon my plugs fell off anyways is because of the stupid MSD wires that are on there. One of them would pop off every now and again.

Whoever told you your coil is burnt out was probably right. My friend had a similar problem. Put on a new dizzy, and problem solved.
Keep looking for a new distributor, that will more than likely solve your problem.

Try replacing your rotor button first, its cheap and could very well be the problem to why you're not getting any spark.
To the moderator thats stated the ecu could be fried, if this was the case, wouldn't it throw a code for ecu?

As for the OP issue.. It seems like an ICM/coil issue, but he's stated he already replaced them.. that's why i asked if he replaced them with ''known working units''
If fuse are good, test for spark. Pull the spark plug out and stick it in the spark plug wire and crank the motor. If there's no spark, more then likely you fried the igniter or coil inside the dizzy. Check on Ebay for igniter and coil (much much cheaper then Dealership).

Was the coil bought new or used?
