As I have stated previously this is NOT plug and play and they are NOT the 1st to do it.

thats a lot of work....
not worth it in my opinion.
i would rather just wait for hondata to come out with whatever the hell its gonna be called for our car. and switching from dbw to throttle cable deserves a thumbs down. i hope their throttle cable snaps haha im jk
i think for them to run kpro shows how impatient they are.

i would do this in a heartbeat if i wasn't as conplex as it is. Also, if you want to have this done (like the guy in the video) you have to drive all the way to minnesota or some **** like that.

He used a type s throttle body, wiring harness and a kpro wired it in so that it is running off of both ecu's the stock si one to control all the a/c and other BS and the kpro to run the motor.

I think one of the reasons we have been waiting so long is because Hondata is too wrapped up and setting new speed records.

Honestly, I don't understand why it is taking so long. There is certainly plenty of demand. Maybe the engineers at Hondata are not as smart as we all think they are.

Yes, I am annoyed by the amount of time this is taking. I am sure CT Engineering is annoyed as well since they are STILL waiting for the Stage II tuning for the supercharger.

the big question is: will hondata EVER come out with something for the 06+ civic? they've only had 3 years to do it. if they haven't done it by now, what makes you think they ever will? also, why is switching to a cable throttle a bad idea? no more annoying rev-hang, for one.

anybody know exactly what's involved in this? i haven't seen any how-to's anywhere. it bet it's not all THAT bad to do yourself.

You dont NEED a hondata solution to run more boost, a tuned water injection kit and or the AEM FIC will work quite nicely. A water injection kit would only have to be filled every 5-7 days and most quality kits come with a gauges and or protection measures.

i think hondata needs to copy the same program that vw's use to tune their cars since they are dbw. but just add vtec windows and *****

It's really low on fuel, but I doubt that's why.

The driver is terrible. Get someone with a little skill to show off your "product".
