Oil On Back Of Flywheel.. Need New Crank Seal?
Specs: JDM 89 B16 Y1
I decided to put locktite on my flywheel bolts (I heard it wasnt neceeeary but might as well) before I put my new clutch on, when i looked at the back of the flywheel however, there was a little bit of (new) motor oil on it. Im assuming I need a new crank seal..
Is thos most likely my problem?
Can I just order one for a 99-00 si? or a VTEC DelSol?
thanks guys

When ever you do a clutch if you don't know when the last time was that your engine had a seal I put one in. You already there and they are so cheap.
It's almost always a good idea to change the rear main seal while you've got the flywheel off.
B/D/F/H-series engines pretty much all use the same rear main seal, 80x100x10. Part number 91214-PLE-003.

im not quite sure what you mean, but if you could elaborate that would be great
can anyone confirm this? the new seal seemed to be a tad bit shorter than the origional one, (depth wise)
