Default 95 Civic Ex Faster

I got a 95 civic ex cold air intake, exhaust, no cat converter, Performance rotor by vision, and am wanting a quicker jump off the line now granted it is a automatic but what steps should i take to get that better jump off the line?

true. not worth modding an auto SOHC performance wise at all. Or save your money and swap it.

Get a better platform.

You must be goddamn retarted to try to make your little single cam slammin automatic "quick".

Don't know if you call a 20 second 1/4 mile quick though....

I take my previous statement back.

You CAN make 'em quick!

Just add some underglow neon, lambo doors, 22" dubs, and a HUGE (I mean, [freak]ING HUGE) parkbench on your trunk AND your roof!

You'll be fast and furious in NO time!

[freak] turbos and engine mods! They're all overrated! The people that do engine mods are retarted!

Because you can go faster with only cosmetic mods!

Didn't you know? Downforce > Horsepower

You can make it fun, and you can make it fast, but not reliably. The transmission is the weak link. If you really like the car, swap the trans to a 5spd. Then you can do maybe a bolt on turbo kit and get some real power out of it.

What about messing with the fuel ie. fuel rail, Hi performance fuel filter, pressure regulator just wondering. I dont want to get rid of the car i have put alot of work into it to make it mine and the way i want it. I know i can squeeze more hp out of the motor just needing guidance.

unnecessary the rules do say keep from flaming. he asked a question. Im sure the OP would have asked which engine would be better (which I would have locked) if that was an option

here's the correct answer
