i kno most turbo have the boost source on the compressor side. mine doesnt have one. im using the one on the back of the intake manifold. would it be better if i tap one on the compressor side?? can i just tap one onto my intercooler pipe??

 

if your feeling really lazy and/or cheap try one of these. http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=BCS. I ordered from these guys recently and it was top notch service plus I think they are sponsers here. Ive never used one, but I would make sure you "punch" the hole in the coupler and not try to drill and/or cut the 5/16 hole

 

just drill a hole in ic pipe or on the turbo where it wud go and thread a nipple on there its not that hard at all..

 

yea thats what i thought. does it really matter where its tapped into??? can i do it after it the fmic

 

u want it as close to turbo as possible, compressor housing is best

It doesnt take long. I had to do it while my car was on dyno to use boost controller.

Took 30 minutes with taking housing off of car and everything!

 

i use one of the taps from atp turbo that goes in the coupler. 1000 miles on it with no issues
