Default 95 Accord Window Problems

Well, I've got a 95 Accord with power windows. I was having problems with the driver window not working, so I've replaced the window and regulator. However, this hasn't really fixed the problem.

Whenever using the switch, there's somewhat of a clicking sound. I'm not sure if it's the switch or the motor itself.

Secondly, whenever the window is wet or damp, the window often gets stuck, however it goes up when dry, albeit very slowly.

Might be the window relay?

As to the windows they're kind of an inherent problem with the 5th gens

Best bet for the slow rolling is to get some grease (they sell some @ Honda) and lube up the tracks, which will help but not really solve it 100%.

the cicking noise you are hearing is coming from the switch for the auto window dowqn and will make noise when the window gets stuck...i suggest opening the door up remove all dirty grease from the windows track(the one that goes across) and putting new grease there and alot of it...pay attention to the middle as these windows seem to get stuck as the 2 rollers get closer to the center

It's not the grease, we did that when we put the new one in... Also, the clicking happens when you're putting it up, not on down or auto-down.

Well, I know they're slow, but I don't know why a new motor and regulator would get stuck.

yes mine does it when going up to....if it stops and you hold it in it will make a sort of popping noise from the switch....dont know why but thats how it is and did you grease the middle of the regulator...thats where they like to get stuck....if its a 2 door it could also be sticking on the black slider track to rear of the door that the windows uses
