Is this from an Integra or a Civic Si?

I took this to the Honda dealership and went to the parts department, and they said they couldn't find it. And said since it was a swap, it might be from an Acura. It has to do with the power steering in the tranny. A guy that rebuilds trannys said it was the Variable assist unit but I can't seem to find one for sale at all. It was in My B16 tranny which was on my B18c. Can Anyone help me with this?
its a vehicle speed sensor (VSS) and its from an integra, 90-93. it sits/bolts into the top of the tranny, and enables you speedometer to work, and VTEC. it could also work for a civic, but ive never owned one. it operates with a speedo cable that plugs into the big hole on top and then into the back of the inst. cluster. 2 power steering lines connect into it also, like you said.
i had one just like it in my b16 when i did my swap, when it was stolen

newer years use a vss but its an electronic vss, transmitting a signal to the ecu. i would assume only obd0 cars would use the one you have, someone correct me if im wrong...
what year/car do you have? what are you trying to do with it?

90-91 is obd0 and 92-93 integra is obd1 and they use it too... that speedo sensor is used with cable trans, hydro trans uses the electric ones

My B18c with the B16 tranny used to sit in an '88 CRX Si. I sold the crx shell, and yanked out the Motor and tranny. I think he converted it from obd0 to obd1. And then my dad looked at it and it has a crack it in. I just wanted to throw it back on the B18c and throw the motor into my 94 Integra LS.
well since its from a cable tranny, and its a cable tranny VSS. The car you own(94 teg) is setup for the use of a Hydraulic transmission. You will need to get a whole new Transmission and VSS to make the swap into your integra
