Default '94 LS flywheel alignment

When I pulled the flywheel, there was no alignment dowel as the manual stated. I didn't mark the orientation to the crank. Is this a zero balance flwheel, so the orientation won't matter? I tried searching here and google, no definitive answers.
Thanks,
Steve

Unless there is something horribly wrong, it should be a zero balance flywheel and the orientation should not matter.

I've never even heard of having to align a flywheel on our engines...and when mine was done we didn't have to do anything special when mounting it, just mount it and torque the bolts in the right order

I'm glad to hear that, I want to finish this weekend. There is a hole in the crankshaft flange for a dowel, but not in the flywheel.
Thanks!

I don't where else you would think another hole should be in the flywheel other that right in the center of it. lol

After you bolt the flywheel onto the crankshaft you will use a clutch alignment tool to center the clutch and pressure plate.

Not that hole! There's a hole between two of the threaded bolt holes, I know about the clutch alignment tool the goes into the pilot bearing. I have the "factory" manual that said look for an alignment pin.
