I would love to come see this one day, I am in VIC also with a garage full of old school Honda metal. PM me if I can come check it out.

I think with an original motor they are superb, but if your car is not great to start ie, matching numbers or complete then an engine conversion is fine - as long as it's still honda powered. In this case an F20C, well what can I say? The best modern Honda engine for one of the most desirable Honda classics!

James

P.S my garage............and still NO S800 coupe car yet!!!!!!

Still looking!

Loving the rust removal process! Looks like the car just had surface rust...

interesting upper shock mounts, i'm going through the process of having my Koni Classics rebuilt, but your mounts probably give you a few more options

does it need to be that high ?

i know mine will be down low but i have driven some very low cars on the road with no problem with about 5cm ground clearence on the engine (Lister Jaguar ). as long as i don't go off road i think mine will be have no problems. i would rather modify the sump to be shallower and run with "cat flaps" in the sump and an accusump rather than spoil the lines of the cars with a huge bonnet bulge

your build looks very special and will end up being a lot nicer than mine . i envy the amount of space you have and the quality of your work

Any suggestions on scoop or bonnet bulge?
</TD></TR></TABLE>

I prefer the bulge rather than a scoop. The bulge is more correct (AFAIK Honda never had a car with a scoop, but the early ZC cars did have a bulge) and the scoop is kind of "ricey" IMHO.
