$150 is about half of what the HFP costs new, so that's a pretty good deal.
Having a muffler shop make you a new B-pipe would be ~$100 (just an estimate)
Greddy is ~$500.

so, do you want to spend $250 or $500?

also, why are you getting an exhaust for your lx?
aren't you on a budget?
Thought you were getting a 350z next year?

i didnt mean a budget i meant i didnt want to pay 320 a month for insurance and 300 for car payment. so i got the lx for 200 a month as payment and insurance 140 a month. so im saving alot of money right there that is all going into the bank toward my z in a year or so when i get on the police department. and im puttin the exhaust on not for performance, but to give it some noise its to quiet for me right now

ok, then just put on the HFP axle back. It'll bolt right up to the stock B-pipe. If that's not 'noisy' enough for you then maybe have a new b-pipe made. I wouldn't spend $500 to make my car a little noisier.

If you're saving for something else, why spend money at all? The $150 you would spend on the used HFP muffler could pay your insurance for a month instead.

yeah thats true. ill see how much noise i get from just puttin on the hfp axle back first. ya it could be an insurance payment but i like to spend some money on my cars every now and then. i was only going to do the intake for my car and then leave it, but i didnt get charged for my k@n sri cuz i guess it was on back order and the place i bought it from forgot about me cuz they didnt ship it to me k@n did. so its been about 3 months and stil havent gotten charged for it yet so that 220 i had saved up for that im going to use for the hfp muffler that a buddy only had on his car for like 2 weeks or so. thx for the input IT GUY. and SIVIC 3 if i had a k20 im sure mine would be paired up with a greddy as well but its not
