Going from coventional engine oil to synt, what do I need to do??
I have about 27K miles on my car and I've been using just regular engine oil and I want to go synth. do I need to do anything special?? or just change the oil like usual??
When I did so I was told to:
1. Drain the old oil.
2.pour a quart of the synthetic to be used into the valve cover and let it drain through.
3. replace drain plug and fill engine with the new synthetic.
I don't think it really matters but this is what I did.

Just close your eyes when you poor it in and pretend its conventional oil...J/K.Just put the oil in,its not gonna hurt your engine.
