Hey guys, I just bought a 94 Civic coupe Ex for $380!!! Bone stock. It has some engine gremlins but I think with a little tinkering it should run just fine. I'm just a little excited about getting a great deal. I'll post back on here tomorrow when I pick it up.

Well, the engine gremlin got worse. It can't even make it uphills now. Feels like the engine is suffering from some major compression problems. I heard it could be bent valves. Car starts but barely has any power and sometimes it can't even rev pas 2k rpms. No cel light. Gotta find some time to take that motor apart and inspect it.

If you want the easy way out, you could visit Hmotorsonline.com and go get a d15b vtec for cheap. Plug and play, 130hp VTEC and some have LSD

It has 172K miles on the odometer. I believe I can clean it up real nice. It was running but it threw a rod this morning. No, I'm going to keep sticking a sohc in this one because its an auto...unless I convert it to manual then maybe I'll stick something with more power into it. But nah, my main reason for getting this car is to save gas.

I found it off of The Carolina Trader last week. The ad was actually posted in the Auto Parts & Accessories section. He wanted $450 for it but I lowballed him. Lols!

If there isn't too much wrong with the stock motor you might as well keep what's in it rather then wasting your time putting a motor in that produces barley 130hp, save for a B swap, atleast..

Not trying to get a b-series! I've been down that route already and it drained the hell out of me. It became an obsession. I've been clean for over 5 years now. Don't let the Honda bug bite me again. But damn...sure is tempting...
