Default help with TDC what do the valves underneath look like? help!?

Okay, so i got a d16y8 head in the mail and it wasnt at TDC

so im rotating counter clockwise and when the UP marking on the cam gear is 100% UP [TDC] the valves for the 2&3 cylinder is opening

i thought the 1 or 4 would be opening because of the intake and exhaust compression stroke right?

or do 2&3 open and im just a astupid *** that never knew that?

YES you are a stupid *** and never knew that. lol. each cylinder has their own TDC so if you have 1 and 4 at tdc 2 and 3 will be at BDC
