always use the harness that came with the car chassis, then modify the harness to work with the new motor. There are detailed how-to's in the FAQ and in the archives if you search.
If your not comfortable doing your own wiring, you can send your stock harness out to Rywire and they will make it plug and play.
You can also get an OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness and that will take care of all your wiring.
Other components you'll need:
-Mounts
-Shift Linkage
-ECU
-Axles
