diy wire tuck harness.
anyone ever made a harness to do a engine wire tuck with? like make the harness to sell them just for wire tucks. im not saying im gonna sell them or anything i just kinda want to make a harness on the side instead of cutting wires apart on my dd and not being able to finish in a day and be out of a car for a couple days. i just want to build a harness lol any other engine harness projects out there i can do?

Wire tucks are pretty easy it all depends on what extent you are want to go to... What you have to do is take you engine harness completely apart all the ele tape... And then re do it the way you want.... and where you want... use 18 gauge for the ext on head lights ect.
be careful though, some wires are shielded from electromagnetic fields and radio frequencies, make sure you use shielded wires in these cases (02 sensor, and CKP? and some others).
I think these mods make these cars look a lot cleaner, I thought about doing some engine bay cleanup while my engine is out, but it looks like a lot of work to me. I may just clean and paint a few things and wire tuck later on or something?

hmm, too expensive from that site.
well, since im very **** about my ish and a wiring junkie, i would just buy all the materials and do it myself.
get wiring diagrams.
get a stock harness.
get wires with the right gauges.
get a pick set, to de/repin plugs.
get a lot of new pins.
etc.
this way, i can work on it on my free time and spend less money.
plus i trust myself that it would work.

not in my case, for the main motor harness i mounted the fuse box under the dash and worked from the inside of the car out and just tucked the leftover wire under the intake manifold. for the headlight and turn light harness i just cut them an ran them under the fenders. i just found out that obd0 will not flash a check E light code if i remove the canister so by by big ugly black thing next to my intake.
