what are good brands ? are the ebay torque wrenches good?

This is the one i have for 1/2 and I love it. For 3/8 i just have the run of the mill craftsman click type.

Snap-On, Mac, but get them recalibrated periodically.

I know two poeple that can calibrate torque wrenches at work and believe it or not they both say that the harbor frieght torque wrenches rarely require calibration and when they do they're not off by much. But I still have 5 snap-on torque wrenches that I get calibrated so the choice is yours.

where do you guys normally go to get this done ? And what does it normally run $$ ?

I know an electrical engineer who works for the government, I just give them to him, he takes them to work and gives them to some mechanical engineer dude who does it for him as a favor. Prior to meeting this guy, I used to send them back to manufacturer via the parts salesmen and the manufacturer would calibrate them for me, but I don't remember how much that costed.
