Default 90 Crx Si w/b18c Swap Map Sensor Question.

Helping a friend get his car running b/c he got deployed over seas.

It is running on a jdm pr3, car is still ob0.

Motor is a b18c swap.

I was told the map sensor was a firewall mount, and brand new is expensive.

Will other year Honda maps fit this car? If so what years?

Thanks in advance!!

theres a map sensor on the firewall for the stock engine, there should also be a map sensor on the throttlebody. you can unclip the wires from the map sensor on the firewall and connect it to the tb map sensor.

There isn't a map on the throttlebody. I don't know what IM/TB combo is on there, but there isn't a map sensor present.

just connect the map to one of the vaccum lines on the intake manifold. same way it was done on the original d16a6

I don't have a map sensor. The question I asked is "What OTHER sensors will work for this motor/ecu combo?"

pretty much all map sensors from honda are the same, but if u dont have a spot for a map sensor on the TB then u need to get one from an EF which is on the firewall

Plugs are gonna be different, but the wires are the same?

I am sure I can round up something.

Even if I don't have a spot for it on the manifold, I could run a vacuum line to it I'd figure?
