Default Advice on new amp for my JL Audio

I have a JL 12W7 and i need new amp. I have a 325.1 Rockford Fosgate amp right now that does a little bit. I like the new Alpine PDX 1.600 amp which I can get a little cheaper than a JL 500/1 V2 amp. Which one or what are some other suggestions?

Recommended wattage for the 12W7 is around 750W RMS continuous so the PDX-1.600 would be a better amp for the sub, although still a little "underpowered".

I would be looking for something around 800-1000 watts RMS. 94

i've always like the 1000/1 for those because the jl / series has a regulated power supply that can accomodate that subs SVC 3ohm coil, just make sure since your only running one sub that you get a 2ohm stable monoblock or a 1ohm stereo stable 2ch amp will do. generally a 1000w rms class d 2ohm stable amp will produce very close to the power you need when you put that 3ohm sub on it.
