gsr block ls or b16 main caps what would work?

Default gsr block ls or b16 main caps what would work?

hey i have to turboed b16 in my ef right now and i have a complete ls botom end sitting in my garage but i found a good deal on a sleeved gsr block that is bare with no main caps my question is could i use the main caps out of my b16 or the ls on the gsr block? im planning on useing the ls crank and and building it. is there anything else that i would need to build the motor?

The GSR block uses a girdle that ties together the three middle main caps. Neither the LS or the B16 block uses that. I guess if you didn't want to use the girdle, then you could possibly use the LS or B16 main caps, along with the LS or B16 oil baffle, oil pump pickup, and oil pan. More importantly though, is making sure the caps are match the block clearance/tolerance (bearings and crank) wise. It will probably entail some machine work.
