tap secondary o2 sensor wire(s) into primary o2 sensor wires at the ecu?
Hey guys, my secondary o2 sensor is broken, and I am throwing code 65 (secondary o2 sensor).... I want to tap my secondary o2 wire(s) into the wires for the primary o2 sensor at the ecu, so that my secondary is reading the same as my primary.... Can anyone tell me which wire(s) I need to connect to do this? Here are the ecu connectors I'm working with:

Ummm...and why do you think this will work?
Instead of hacking up your wiring and doing who-knows-what to your motor/ECU, why not drop a few bucks and replace the secondary o2? You can get generic ones cheap on ebay (Denso).
Seems like an obvious solution to me. Your way is just asking for problems.

it won't mess anything up.... the ecu will just read the same signal for the secondary o2 and the primary o2.... only problem is i don't know which wires i need to tap to make it work.
oh ok.... damn.... well do you (or does anyone?) happen to have a diagram of the order of the wires on the connector from the o2 sensor? the pins were ripped out of the connector and I don't know what order they were in

they would be in the same order as the primary plug/connector, but the wires would obviously be what they are in your list for your secondary. if you are missing one in that list, which it looks like you are, process of elimination would tell you which is which since you have the other 3 listed and you can compare position to the position in the primary plug.
and just to clarify, if you did what you originally proposed, the secondary o2 would be reading the same as the primary, which would tell the ecu that the catalyst is not doing its job and you'd have a MIL from that.

Exactly.
Just spend the cash and get a new o2 sensor. Your original idea is not only dumb, but it also won't work.
You sure your friend didn't make the OBD-II B16 into OBD-I? With OBD-I your idea would work...even though it would be completely pointless.
