Default O2 sensor bypass wire hookup ???

I ordered a secondary o2 sensor bypasser from casperselectronics.com because my high flow cat doesnt have a place to put the sensor. Of course the generic wiring diagram that came with the bypasser is everything but accurate. I need to know what wire goes to what

wires coming from the car in the order they go in on the socket

Orange/Blue stripe || Blue/Red stripe
Green/Red stripe || Black/Yellow stripe

O2 sensor socket wires (from same angle)
Green || White
Black || Black

The bypasser has 3 wires
Red - posotive
Tan-Ground
Purple- ?

I need to know what posotive and ground are coming either from the car or from the o2 sensor wiring so i can make some sense of what goes to what.

Anyone who has any idea i'd appreciate it. Thanks!!

also
the wiring diagram they gave me said these wires would come out of the car

WHT/RED to Purple
GRN/PNK to Tan
BLK/YEL/ BLK/ORN to Red
BLK/WHITE

here's a blown up picture of the diagram http://www.angelfire.com/dc2/neoblack/index.html

The two black wires from your socket are the heater wires. The green is - signal and white is + signal as I recall.

so do the 2 black wires even matter? From what i understand the whole problem with the 2nd O2 sensor is if it doesnt get the right voltage signal, which would come from the + and - wires it trips the cel, so what do the heater wires matter?

If the ECU(OBDIIa+) doesn't detect a load across the heater wires it will throw a code 41.

alright well here's what I did, I kept the black wires connected to the o2 sensor, and cut the green and white and connected them to + and - , now i'm gonna hook the socket back up and tuck it all into the car. Than I'll reset the Ecu and see what happens. I'll post again with the result of it.

the only time my code tripped before even with the o2 sensor just tucked away was when I was cruising at low rpm's. I'm assuming if I did something wrong it will trip it up much faster than that

i'll post again in a little while

Sounds reasonable. I assume you're wrapping the sensor in foil and then plastic or similar so it doesn't get soaked yes?
