Does Restore work?
well as i was scrolling through Import Tuner mag I saw an ad for Restore. It claims to lessen oil consumption, gain power, gain compression, and improve engine life. well my car currently has about 125k on it, do you think Restore would do anything? have any of you actually used this, what were your results?

you just have to think about what it says it does, for how much it costs. maybe it does all the things that it says it does, but i'd rather fix my problems than just mask them. if your cars burning oil or loosing oil, i doubt that adding a fluid will really fix it. "makes more power" doens't sound right either. with a little analysis you can figure out what's actually wrong with your car. just my .02
well its just on my mazda that im using as a DD till i get my car finished. so its really not worth rebuilding the engine. i figure it cant hurt my car so why not.
It works in a pinch...like right when you're about to sell a car to reduce some of the smoking and oil consumption.
It's a bandaid on a broken leg though...
