Default transmission problems

whats up guys, i recently swapped my 95 2dr LX with a H22a and M2B4 trans,

thing is ever since i swapped it, 5th gear is been acting up. and from research, they are famous for it.

and now Reverse wont engage.

so what should i do?

Try this:

Engage clutch->shift to 1st->back to neutral->shift to reverse->(if it still doesn't go, ->back to neutral->back to reverse).

or

What you want to do is put it in neutral, press down on the clutch and put it in reverse. You should feel 2 clicks when doing it. If it goes in smooth, then likely it is not engaged and it will grind. Always remember that your car is in idle when shifting to reverse. If your rolling down a hill and shift to reverse it will grind.

I did a google search and found a thread about this issue. Hope this helps dude. I was reading that some cars have a lockout just in case you go into reverse while trying to shift to 5th, so it gives problems.
