Having problems going into 1st gear!! ?
the damn thing has happened to me for a while, I'm just too lazy and got used to it... but if anyone can figure out what the problem it might be, i'll be appreciated. well, it mostly happens in stop-go traffic, when I shift into 1st from neutral, it only goes half way in, just like the reverse gear problem, I have to release the clutch pedal a little bit so it goes in, or shift to other gears then I can shift into 1st. what problem it might be? My car is a 97.

I always thought that you couldn't shift back into first if you're over 25 mph? Anyways..just double clutch. Works for me.

I always thought that you couldn't shift back into first if you're over 25 mph? Anyways..just double clutch. Works for me.

(It will also go from 5th to 2nd at over 100mph...)

yeah I have to force it into 1st from over 20mph.... but i can not even shift into 1st completely at FULL STOP... and grinds 2nd gear sometimes while normal driving...
