Need to replace hose but distributor in the way!!!What to do??????

Need to replace hose but distributor in the way!!!What to do??????
I need to replace the heater hose that is right under the distributor. I can't get to the clip to remove the hose with just needle nose pliers! The only other thing to do would be to remove the distributor and then i can get to the hose. Would it be a smart idea to do this or are there certain thing i should do before doing this?

dude everybody and there grandma can get the hose off without having to remove the dizzy try a little harder
