Default H4H/L bulb

What kind of bulb is this? h4 base? will this work in a car that uses H4s? i've never seen this bulb type before.

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: H4H/L bulb (ssm-gd3)

there are three/four types of h4 hid conversion bulbs, H4 low only, H4-2 or hid low halogen high, H4 bi-xenon which is a fully encased hid bulb with moving bulb and then there is an odd ball one I don't see too much which is H4 dual HID bulb, it's got two hid casules to act for hid and low... I personally stick with either H4-2 as long as it had full shielding or H4 bi-xenon because the bulb is fully shielded...

The bulb you have is the H4-2 or Hid low, halogen high, the problem is that the HID bulb isn't fully shielded from the lower section it will cast light into the area where the high beam reflectors are and cast glare as well as the T shaped nose cone in the factory headlights won't shield the stray forward light from the hid bulb again...
