Default JRSC reliabiltiy?

Are there any particular reliability issues that one may expect to deal with when purchasing an ITR with a JRSC installed already?

Forced induction kinda scares me when it comes to reliability issues.

Any opinions / facts would be greatly appreciated.

I think the consensus(sp?) is any kind of forced induction is fine with appropriate parts and tuning. JRSC make more heat than all motor setups, so take that into consideration. i'd rather have the blower than a snail, call me crazy.

3+ years with no real problems. Just recently I hear a lil pinging, I think the 91 octane is getting worse and worse or I have a non-supercharger-related problem with my car.

The reason I ask is because I've looked @ an ITR w/ a JRSC & am kinda worried about the reliability. I am not yet knowledgeable of any additional mods (internal or otherwise) that may have been made to the car.

I have 14 months and 19K miles on my blower, and I've only had to replace 1 pulley (under warranty) and NO belts. Pretty reliabile so far.

I've got about 30K miles on mine. I've replaced the belt twice and one pulley under warranty. I haven't had any other reliability problems.
