What is your fuel pressure at? I know it is supposed to go up a bit, but mine was sitting at 47psi and when I took the vacuum hose off the regulator it went up to 60psi, then stalled. It might have even went higher if it didn't stall. I think my regulator might be screwed. Does anyone know how to check for a clog in the return line? That could be the problem as well.
