i want to know what kind of stuff i need to upgrade my block and also pass smog like camshaft,rods,pistons,rings, etc.
i heard that it wont pass smog if you put other than stock on the block but im not sure

Camshafts don't go in the block champ. I think you have a little bit more to read up on before you do anything.

 

well sorry but im not gonna do the rebuilt
i just needed to know if i upgrade to bigger and stronger ones will it pass smog?
or should i just upgrade to all type r etc since its is oem specs

actually, spend $50 on amazon and buy a couple books on rebuilding motors and honda hot rodding. if you are that new, get a couple books that explain how a 4 stroke engine operates, how cams & compression work in synch etc..

 

the Search button is your best bet. you seem to know nothing. so goto how stuff works and research online. I was once like u and didn't know much, now i build big tubro A4's S4's WRx Hondas etc just for the hell of it. replaced my engine last weekend, you'll get there. If your lookin to "upgrade" u need to know what u want to do.... N/a boost etc.... looking for a litte more power out of your b18c1.... intake exhaust..... Rebuild? theres alot to learn but easy too all the info is there.as for smog I know theres alot of CA honda guys that can help u.
