Default b18a1, b16 vtec.

so.. 2 choices here, i plan to boost it, which block would be better for turboing. is the b18 worth the extra 1500? over the b16?

b18 and b16 handle boost just the same and realistically if ur gonna boost u mite wanna consider a rebuild of the engines anywayz just so u make sure u dont blow something

my boy just got done building a b16 on boost and he made 350whp. basic setup to but the whole b16 block was redone, new rods, pistons and sleeves whihc is important if u wanna be serious with ur boost. head is pretty much all stock with injectors and some other nicknacs and hes actually running a pretty small turbo setup which i can get the specs on later. he tuned on s300 and made like 350 sumthin on 18 pounds.

if u r willing to spend alot of money boost the b16 it takes more tuning but u will end up with a fast *** car but if not boost the b18 its alot easier
