Default ls/vtec or b16 for boost?

Well, I have 2 ls blocks, 1 b16 head and 1 b16 block....

For a built boost application (pistons, rods, etc.), which is the better choice?

ls/vtec or b16?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of either choice?

Thanks

I WOULD GO LS/VTEC YOU'LL GET WAY MORE POWER AND I CAN'T REALLY THINK OF ANY DISADVANTAGES AGAINST A B16

if ya already have the stuff, ls/vtec, but there is nothing wrong with the B16 either....I personally went with B16, but i didnt have an ls sitting around lol. Just to much hassle to find a complete short block in good condition and then get the kit for them and what not.

do with the most displacement you can. theoretically a 2.0 vtec with tuning at 14.4 psi would have 80 more horsepower than a b16

I believe that the Ls block would be a little beefier so if you plan to run hi boost it should hold up better. I have already blown a b16 block. I wish i would have done a ls/vtec. plus you should get more tq out of it as well.
