Default wheel weight

hey i have a 96 ex coupe.
how important is wheel weight in terms of acceleration, handling, stopping, and ride comfort?
i hav the 7 spoke cl rims, 18-20lbs without tires, how does it compare to lightweight aftermarket ones?

Obviously it helps more in every category other than ride comfort.

Less rotational mass = better.

And all you have to do is look at any wheel manufacturer site to get weights.

The 96 ITR's are ~11.5 lbs apeiece

Haha I wouldn't go into modifying a car looking for better mpg.

But less weight I'd assume you'd get more, but wouldn't count on it.
