Default steering lock issue.

92 EX Civic sedan
looped power steering.
stock steering wheel

happened yesterday getting off the highway.

If you turn the wheel, the steering wheel feels like it catches on something. After getting to work, turning in the parking lot it made this pop that could be felt in the wheel. After the pop the wheel became easier to move. But alas, it has started again. It feels like it locks into place.

What can I do to fix this?!? I have to drive this car, 3 hours next monday to get back home. any ideas are helpful.

Also i figured a ignition switch would do nothing to fix the ignition lock issue. correct me if im wrong.

i know when balljoints get really bad they can do this think where when the tires are at a certain angle they get stuck there for a second. idk if thats your problem. but its an easy check.

I hope you find the problem. I'm about to loop my power steering. You're making me rethink it D:
