Default Some clutch issues

I got my beater running and driving yesterday (89 4 door, d16z6, si trans) here is the only issue left. When I am in low rpms it shifts like butter, but if I shift at redline it will not go into gear unless you force it (grinds of you force) or double clutch (will not grind).

It seems odd that the trans will not go into any gear (1st to 2nd to 3rd to 4th to 5th) but is butter buttter smooth if you force the grind is not bad the real problem is it just does not want to go into gear in the high rpms. Maybe the clutch cable is not adjusted right?

you can try to adjust it maybe the clutch is getting down there and needs replaced.

ok then if it dont slip the cable needs no adjustment that leaves the throw out bearing, pressure plate and syncros. When was the last time the trans fluid was changed?or level checked

I put synchromesh in yesterday when I finished the swap, how many quarts is it I used a tad over 2, the trans does not make a single whirring or whining sound super quiet. I have never had a cable trans so I thought the damn cable is giving me issues ALSO I did loose the cable stay that bolts on the valve cover could that cause this (extra flex).
