Default should i keep the pistons?

im planning on turboing a dohc d16zc would it b a good idea to change the pistons and rods?

well it depend. how big of turbo are you gonna use how much boost?

maybe a t3/t4 with 6 or 7 psi. i only have 5 posts man so... im curious y

if you gonna run like 5-7 psi youl be fine with your rods and stuff, but i would replace the rings, and bearings.
just run like a t25 turbo youll be fine with that
if you were gonna run anything higher then 9 i would say h rods and some nice pistons.

Don't look at PSI as the send all warning sign, look at power levels generated. Also look at fuel availability and tuning. While you're at it, decide to yourself if you will be satisfied with just a little bit of boost.
